Why do you think Socrates should not have been found guilty of impiety.?

Socrates was not an atheist. He attended all the ceremonies and functions of the city. He mentioned the devine often if not the particular Greek Gods worshipped by the city. He was also charged with corrupting the youth, if I recall. Hard to make an arguement that Plato was corrupted.
