Is anyone here a reiki healer? How did you get started?

Yes I am a Reiki Master Teacher, and it started amazingly, as I am very intutive and have deep spiritual connections, I found a book on Hypnosis and Reiki in an old book store, and in that book the name of the reiki symbols were mentioned, and their various uses for different diseases, but the symbols were not there. Even at that time I do not know how to operate computer. Than one day I am sitting near my dinning table watching the jug which was full of water, than i saw a face in that jug, and it was like watching TV. I tried to recall all the faces of the people I know in my past or have seen on Tv, but could not recognized him who he was. As I became aware of the picture it vanished from the jug. It was a strange experience for me. The other day my heart craved to go to some book store, therefore I went in the old book shop, and there was a book on Reiki, it was the first book I took out from the bookshelf, and as I turned it there was the same picture of that man I saw in the water jug, and He was Master Usui`s picture. I read that book with interest, and as I have no access to any reiki teacher I forgot about it, and my only son left for abroad, and for communication with him I learnt internet from one of his friends. And I surfed the net for Symbols, and I started drawing them on paper countlessly, and one day I was reading three months old news papers, where I read an advertisement of Reiki cl, with a phone number. Thanks God the cl was still on, and they were offering free healings on Thursdays, after attending two three cless and learning to meditate, I thought of my hip pain, and asked the Master to give me reiki. He asked one of his old students to give me distant reiki, as being muslim a man is not allowed to touch women, who is not his spouse. And that fellow just looked at me, and told me that he had build a cord and reiki will continue to flow , and i be healed from my fifteen years hip pain, and it was such a mirical happend to me that I slept so comfortible without any pain, and walking became so easy for me. This miriculous healing experience led me to get attunements, and deep knowledge about this Divine Energy. Now in four years I have done my Master Teacher level, and my life, my attitude towards life every thing changed dramatically. And everything in life appears so beautiful and full of life, that I think myself lucky to come in touch with this energy, I am so grateful to Master Usui who introduce this forgotten light into our lives. I am grateful to my teachers, and to my collegues, and to my students and patients, who come to me for sharing and caring too. I am grateful to all ascended masters living or departed ones who brought us these higher levels of conciousness, and togetherness, and taught us to live for giving and receiving .Try to be attune to this divine energy , heal yourself and the others, Love, Light and Peace for all.
