Have old Sony amp in home stereo system. Need to replace 250-volt fuse but don't know the amperage. Do you?

The amplifier is a Sony STR-6036 (circa 1972). It has two 250-volt fuses. I'm looking for some good guesses as to what a safe amperage for such a fuse would be. Thanks!
