Is it too cliche to get a tatt of your name?

I got an unique name, its my dads and moms names combined. I want to get it tatted in my low abdomen. pretty small and in cursive. But I also heard that this is kinda related to pregnancy problems if you tatt around your hips or abdomen (in women) is this true?
