How difficult would a katana GSX 650F to ride?

I am 16 just got my licence. So me and my dad are looking at bikes to get. We have a suzuki intruder 800 and we are interested in this trade for a 1998 Suzuki Katana GSX 750F. Would this be too much power for me? I have had about 2 years of experience dirt biking mainly on a yz 250f. What do you guys think? I will add on more if you ask it.
