Help! I don't know what to do?

OMG. First thing, keep your cat confined to your room if you have a door, or another room with a door (include litter box food & water) & not your grandfather.Find out the phone number of your local police precinct nearest your address. I don't recommend 911 but 411 to get the direct number. Speak to them honestly about your grandfather brandishing a bat with your cat & tell them it's a threatening situation for cat & you. Ask that they get or give you, a referral to shelter that has animal abuse investigators so that you can alert them to this explosive situation. Tell them it's serious enough that a visit to him with a warning could backfire & set him off. You don't mention getting out of there with your cat in tow...why ? Even with outside intervention your grandfather could lose it. Are you too young to leave, or do you have nowhere to go with your cat? If this man is threatening your cat & your under 18, he would also be considered a danger to a minor, a worse offense. You need outside istance regardless & ASAP. Don't fall into a trap of feeling you won't be helped & guard the cat as you would, with your life now ! Start talking to law enforcement & remove yourself with your cat, if you can. You'll be in my prayers EDIT...ok so you can't leave, what do you have to work with in this situation? If you say nothing, your gonna get bombarded with everything on yahoo answers.ADD details again or email me. CAN you seperate your cat without changing your grandfathers in/out door?
