GUYS,girls that gave a guy a second chance, should I give him another chance?

ok I started dating this guy yesterday. I've known him since kindergarten (we're in middle skool now) so when he asked me out I said sure cause I thought I knew him. I broke up with him today because EVERYONE even HIS friends told me he was gonna break up cause he's using me for this other girl and he's cheating on my etc. So since I believed them I broke up with him. Now today after skool he had a detention and I had play practice. SO I snug out to go hang out with my other friends and he was still there after 30 MINS AFTER DETENTION. So was deaning everything I confronting him on. I'm Christian and he doesn't go to church and was really weird when I started talking to him about God. I'm worried my relationship will get in the way of me and God. And in the bible it says something about if someone in the relationship is a believer and the other is not then the relationship won't work out. SO should I go out with him again or not?
